Downloadable Fast Build Pirogue Plans – Free boat plans
Imagine what two weekends, the plans for this fast build pirogue and two sheets
of plywood will do? You will be ready for going out on adventure.
The fast build pirogue will load 2 adults plus some gear. Everything is made as simple as possible
both for building the pirogue and for handling. There are no permanent seats, the
plans contain details for removable seats, and so it is easy to configure the pirogue
for both one and two paddlers.
This pirogue canoe is only 12' long and therefore it's likely some builders will find it tippy. That's quite normal given the canoes dimensions. If you want a more stable design you should choose boat plans for one of the larger designs instead.
We recommend you download the free plans before buying the boat plans you want. That way you get to see with your own eyes the top quality of the boat plans before buying.
This boat is easy to build using the downloadable boat plans
The boat plans are available for instant download so you can start building right away.
Available in PDF file formats, each plan includes drawings showing exact dimensions for
the hull panels and frame, plus comprehensive building instructions and assembly details.
No carpentry or boat-building skills necessary
You don't need any boat-building experience to build this boat – just lift the dimensions
from the plans and transfer them directly onto the plywood sheets. The plans allow you to
draw full size contours of the parts of the boat - the bottom pieces, side pieces etc.
Once you're done, simply cut around the lines using a jigsaw, then use the stitch and glue
building method to finish your boat.
